On Thursday, January 27, 2022, County Supervisor Joe Simitian hosted a webinar for mature workers (age 50+) who are looking to shift careers or wanting to re-enter the workforce. Mature workers are an important part of today’s workforce, offering experience and abilities that are valuable to employers. The event included a panel of Silicon Valley labor market specialists discussing how to overcome potential age stereotypes, upgrade skill sets, and build confidence to thrive within the workforce.
